We just wanted to let you all know that Jimmy Gowans passed away last week. Jimmy was a member of our Club for 12 years.
Even when he was not able to fly anymore he would still come to the field almost every day. He will be missed.
Arrangements made by the family are private.

Sad to hear Jimmy passed on, I had gotten used to seeing him in the mornings at the field. I'll miss him.

He will be missed. I have a hanger 9 Beaver that I wanted to show him fly. He gave it to me and never flew it. RIP my friend Jimmy.
