To All Club Members
Our club had an incident involving a plane crashing on the other side of the river into a farmers crop. We have spoken to the farmer who also stated that there was also a plane and a jet flying beyond the river as the plane was being retrieved. We must keep our planes away from the river or we will lose our field.
Our planes are getting louder again. The smaller gas engines are growing in popularity. Most of these engines come with a muffler, which is nothing more then straight pipes and are noisier then our 100 cc engines. You know if your plane is loud, so please address this problem.
Throttle management is another issue that needs addressing. There is no need to fly an entire flight with full throttle.
If you cannot police yourself and the Club needs to get involved with noise testing due to your planes being to loud or reprimanding about flying over the river you will be grounded. (STAY AWAY FROM THE RIVER).
