Since I don't have enough planes, when I stumbled on this one on CL, it was too good a deal to pass up.
Redwing MSX-R, Bought (by original owner) in 2013, assembly started, never completed or flown. 73" WS, designed for DLE 30.
When he glued the control surface hinges, he left a considerable gap. I don't see an easy way to fix this, nor do I think it will be required
for my flight capabilities.

Congratulations on a great find. You may want to seal the gap with clear Monokote covering or tape to eliminate the possibility of flutter. Happy flying.

Started a thread under Project Builds. Will post pix & progress there. Probably also ask for advice there.
Should keep me busy this winter.
