FAA Inspecting

It has been brought to our attention that Flying Fields have had visits from FAA inspectors looking for FAA numbers in planes, trust certificates, etc. Therefore, we strongly advise that members have their FAA numbers in their planes and FAA membership cards and FAA Trust certificates on their person when flying.

If FAA people come to the field to check AMA certificates and other things, we first have to make sure they are not overzealous individuals or impostors, and ask for their credentials first. These days you can't trust anyone.
