Piper Cub from a Deli
Posted: Wed Jun 22, 2011 6:05 pmI found her in a deli near work, and she hung off the ceiling covered with dust! The owner said it had flown. Upon getting her home, and getting the wing off, I found the original plans inside. She has a SAITO FA-80 eng, no servos, no control rods for the rudder or ELV. The wing has holes in the mono coat and that is all the seen damage. She needs wing struts made as the span is 76.5.
I have a work ahead of me, so the basement will be used a lot in the coming months.
