That trick is awesome. I did it when I built my Mojo40 and it worked like a charm.
The only problem with doing it that way on this plane is that the carbon fiber tube does not go through the wing at all. It only goes through the wing joiner. So what I am going to do is the drizzle and heat method.
Lay the fuse flat on the board on top of waxed paper, mix 30 min epoxy, drizzle it in where the fuse and tube meet, then hit it with the heat gun for about 3-5 seconds, soaks the epoxy right into the cracks. cover with waxed paper and weight it down over night.

Today I did a dry fit. I wanted to make sure the Anti rotation dowel lined up, They did the epoxying will begin tomorrow. I also need to get a few more pieces of wood so I can start on my fuse and tail.

Well I must have dry fitted the wings like 10 X and I am happy with the way they line up.
So I layed the fuse on some wax paper and put the fuse tube in. If you look at the front of the fuse you see the wing joiner with the tube running right through it.. I mixed up some 30 min epoxy, and began to drizzle it between the wood and the tube. I then took a heat gun and heated up the epoxy that I just put on so it will run between the tube and wood.
Then I clamped and weighted it down. I will let this sit over night

Now I was short some 1/4 3/8 balsa sticks. It seems the wood list says on thing and the print says another. So Luckily Haggie had a plank of 1/4" balsa wood and cut me what I needed . Now I can start on my Fuse and rudder

Looks great. Are you using ca on the frames or elmers. Just curious as I haven't built a wood plane in a really long time.

I use thin CA for all the frame work. The only time I use wood glue is for Laminating, like I had to do to the fuse nose, and Wing Sheeting.
I found Zap CA and Linda's brand CA(hobby hut) to be the best. I ditched the Great Planes stuff a long time ago.

Well Haggie has his plane. He is almost done covering it already.. Maybe he Will post some pictures when he gets a minute or two.
Mine is almost done being built. I am epoxying the fuse tube in as I type this. Wings are done and finished sanded as well as the rudder,elevator and Ailerons. Mine will be making its way up to Haggie's house shortly for covering.
