Well got both struts done today. I'm hoping the weather warms up alittle more so I can open garage for air to treat all the parts before covering it. My engine came in yesterday (DLE 30). Weight won't be a problem with that. I want to throw a big prop with it.

Nice work! Yea a DLE 30 will be no problem to pull that around! I fly my little cub on Saturday. Got the guts to fly her 2 feet off the deck!.. Felt great and in the turn the wing was CLOSE to the deck!.

You will have a great time with her!

Rich, maybe you could put in some cross bracing on the part of the door frame that makes up the side of the fuselage for some added strength? You can do it to both sides to keep it symmetrical but still provide strength.

Great build, I look forward to seeing you fly it when your all done.

The weather is starting to change and I still have more work to do on almost all my planes. This Cub is taking a bit longer then I thought. Also I desided to go with the DLE 20 instead of the 30. Now I have a NIB DLE 30 :o . O man another build.... Anyways I did little work on the cabin in the last few days and that is just about completed. Here's a picture of the inside.

Rich, that interior looks great. Now you need to get a really nice pilot for that Cub.
